Iron-on clothing labels
Iron-on labels are the classic way to mark clothes, linens, but also work clothes, socks, and other everyday items.
Easy to apply, simply iron on your label with your first name, last name, phone number, etc.
What is the difference between an iron-on label and a self-adhesive clothing label?
Iron-on labels are attached using an iron to fabrics that can withstand temperatures of 160°C (such as cotton). They offer excellent durability and can withstand numerous washes, lasting for several years.
Self-adhesive labels for clothing are ideal when ironing is not possible. They are applied directly to the garment’s composition label (often made of polyamide). Their durability depends on the condition of the label: they adhere very well to new garments, but rarely last more than a year on older garments.
👉In summary:
- Iron-on labels = applied with an iron, long-lasting (several years).
- Self-adhesive labels = no iron required, shorter lasting but very practical.
